The fresher side of Syrah comes through in this wine, with fruity aromas followed by spring-like floral scents and lightly herbaceous notes that shape its bouquet.
It expresses the character of a young wine, although a few years in the bottle will allow it to reveal its full potential. Fabrizio Dionisio is one of the finest interpreters of this grape variety in Tuscany, in the town of Cortona, where Syrah gives some of its very best expressions.
On the palate, it is perfectly balanced, offering a sequence of unique sensations that echo its aromatic profile. It is an excellent match for a wide range of traditional Italian dishes and oven-roasted meats.
